Brendan trained as a tailor and has been designing and crafting handmade, collectible bears since December 2006. Brendan's bears are usually made from mohair, have suede, ultra suede, reversed mohair or felt paw pads, are stuffed with regular or heavyweight polyester and some are partly plastic pellet, glass bead or steel shot filled.
Each one-of-a-kind bear is traditionally constructed with glass eyes and cotterpin joints and, therefore, not recommended for people under 14 years of age.
However, Brendan will happily make young person friendly bears to order.
You will notice that each bear has a descriptive title rather than a name because Brendan believes each bear should be named by its new owner.
All of Brendan's bears are made to consistently high standards of craftsmanship,
with great attention to detail, resulting in unique characters
to treasure for years to come.
Brendan is a Member of the Guild of Master Bearcrafters and
an Associate Member of the Oxfordshire Craft Guild.
